Scrolling through social media, dodging the engagement announcements and pregnancy updates that litter my timeline nowadays, I spot a giveaway hosted by one of my friends. She's started selling online, and even though she hasn't been open very long, she's already managed to start selling and is building a following on social media. And it's not just her - I've got 4 or 5 friends on Facebook who are selling their various wares online.
Where did this trend come from? Is it lockdown boredom? I wish I was that productive during lockdown. Maybe making this blog makes me like them, if you swap products for words and thoughts, not that anyone is paying me right now... but that's the goals eh!
